The search giant announced the news of the whooping 25 percent discount via its official Twitter handle .
The tweet said “We’ve lowered the price of #Nexus 4. Get it for 25% off or more in US, UK, Canada, Germany, Spain, Korea and Australia”
This is the forst time Google has revised its Nexus 4 price which was earlier at $299 for the 8 GB and $349 for the 16 GB model since its arrival on the Play store since November 2012.
The price cut is an attempt to boost the sales as Apple is on the verge of launching new versions of the iPhone namely the iPhone 5C which is the mobile giant’s low cost variant.
The month of September is going to be hot as the IFA Berlin is round the corner. IFA 2013 is Europe’s biggest consumer electronics show, where the likes of LG, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony will once again be unveiling plenty of shiny new products. There are a host of new product launches that will happen this September.
That being said, i know the Dollar rates are on an all time high and i know how my Indian friends would be feeling out there. Well, i guess we can wait for the mercy of the search giant as it might treat us with the offered 25% cut in India as well.
