Samsung Galaxy S5 or 4S

Yes you read it right!
Samsung’s Unpacked 5 event happened today morning at the MWC,14 and Samsung announced it’s much awaited flagship device the Galaxy S5. But for most of those who saw the phone in real, didn’t find anything much compelling. The Galaxy S5 is almost similar to it’s predecessor Galaxy S4 with a few upgrades
The Verge quoted :The Galaxy S5’s design is a minor evolution of the Galaxy S4 — in fact, the two are almost indistinguishable from the front.

Samsung is one of the major distributor of the Android phones. Keeping that in mind I guess they didn’t bother much about designing their flagship. The front side of the phone is almost identical to the S4. The usual home button is present, but now it consists a fingerprint scanner (I know you thought of the iPhone 5S) which can be accessed by swiping your finger through the home button. I hope this would not lead into another patent war! Flip the phone and there you’ll find some changes coming up. The glossy plastic is gone and now we have a designed dotted patterned matte finish type back cover.

Samsung has introduced a heart rate monitor right below the 16MP camera sensor. The Galaxy S5 enables you to check your heart rate by putting your finger on the sensor. The screen now sports a 5.1″ with 1080p resolution on top of the AMOLED display. Also there is a minor increase in the battery pack, now we have la 2800 mAh compared to the 2600 mAh battery from the Galaxy S4.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has the latest Qualcom chipset Snapdragon 801 along with Adreno 330.In terms of memory, there are 2 gigs of RAM in the GS5, which is pretty much enough for each and every task that you may need to accomplish with your phone, at this time at least.

The Galaxy S5 is scheduled to launch globally on April 11th and will be available on all major US carriers, though Samsung isn’t yet ready to talk pricing.
