After the Microsoft-Nokia merger it was thought that Nokia X Family might be dead, but it was blown off by the release of it’s latest addition Nokia X2. The latest addition to the Nokia X Family was revealed recently at their Official Conversations Blog. With a price tag of EUR 99 ( INR 8000 approx.) it’s kept against the Most Economical Android Phones(Moto E, Canvas Unite2).
Nokia brought bright colors to the smartphones, the Nokia X2 would be available in Glossy Black, Green, Orange, Dark Grey, White and Yellow. The X Family is indeed very bright when it comes to colors. Also the addition of new translucent outer layer makes the phone look shiny and peppy all the day!
There is New Home button added along with the back button and the Fastlane, the navigation is pretty sleek now!
The Nokia X2 is also equipped with another navigation option; the brand-new ‘apps list’, which keeps your home screen clear for your most used apps, bringing Nokia X2 in line with the existing Lumia experience.
On the inside we have dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz clubbed with 1GB of RAM. Now that’s an upgrade for sure considering that the Nokia’s high end X device Nokia XL had just 768MB of RAM.
While the rear camera sports a 5 MP, auto focus with one-touch capture key (Lumia has this feature) and this one has a front facing camera which all the Nokia X phones lacked!
The Nokia X2 comes preloaded with a lot of Microsoft and Android apps like Skype, Outlook, Bing Search, WeChat and OneDrive with 15GB storage are available right out of the box. HERE Maps and MixRadio come preloaded and can be used offline for when you’ve not got an Internet connection.
With its ability to run Android apps, Nokia X2 gives you more choice when it comes to downloading games and apps through the Nokia Store.
Aggressive pricing and cool designs make this phone really hot! Lets wait n watch what Buzz it creates among the masses!
