The ZenFone series, which was debuted at this year’s CES will be launched on 9th July. It is expected that 3 phones of the Zen series will be launched namely ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6.
The ZenFone 5 will be running Android 4.3 out of the box(Android 4.4 KitKat Upgradable). The phone does have it’s own Android skin that goes by the name of Zen UI which looks really promising and clutter free. Some of the features include an Easy Mode and in-built call recording system.
The phone features a display size of 5inches and 1280x720P resolution. On top of it you have a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it also supports GloveTouch input which is pretty rare in devices of this category.
ZenFone 5 is powered by 2×2: Intel Atom Multi-Core Processor which is clocked at either 2.0 GHz or 1.6 GHz depending upon the model. 2GB/1GB of RAM and MicroSD card support upto 64GB. All this stuff is powered by a 2110 mAh Lithium battery that offers 18+hrs of talk time and 353 hrs of standby time.
The rear camera sports an 8 MP, Auto Focus with LED Flash for taking beautiful pictures and a 2 MP front facing camera with F2.0 aperture for the Selfie
