IFA 2014: What to expect this year.

The Internationale Funkausstellung, also known as IFA is going to start from tomotrrow. This is the time when the top tech companies launch their new products and Berlin lights up with the tech journalists and the gadget freaks trying to get a glimpse of the new devices of the year. This year also all the big tech giants would like to steal the show with hot tech releases. Here’s what we expect to see at the next generation of Gadget World.

Well, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is being leaked already and it’s the one device that all of us would like to hear about from Samsung. The phone is going to be unveiled at an Unpacked event, which is scheduled for September 3.

Speculations are rife that a smartwatch would also be released named Samsung Gear Solo. With the release of Android Wear, more and more smartwatches may be released. But for this year the Note 4 will be the show stopper for Samsung.

Sony also has an event on September 3, which is the same day when the Samsung’s Unpacked event is scheduled.  This year Sony will be releasing the much leaked Sony Xperia Z3 with it’s smaller version the Xperia Z3 Compact.
 Recent teaser video by Sony suggest of some other devices also, one being the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. And also one named Selfie phone with rotating camera. It might be a prototype to increase the hype or a real device. Well all will be clear in coming days.


Asus will be releasing it’s smartwatch powered by Android Wear. It’s latest ZenFone Series phone was loved by the masses and we’re excited about the smartwatch. There will be other new devices that will be released and we might expect some additions to ZenFone Series.


While every other manufacturer is on it’s way of releasing new devices, microsoft will also be releasing two new mid segment phones. If rumor’s are to believed the PC giant will launch Nokia Lumia 730 and Nokia Lumia 830. 
Lumia 730 will sport a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 6.7MP rear and a 5MP front-facing camera. While the Nokia Lumia 830 is rumored to be an upper mid-range phone with a 13MP camera and a Snapdragon
800 processor.
