Where the particular cameras are concerned, the LG G5 packages 16-megapixel rear shooter and a 8-megapixel front shooter which is great for some great selfies.

LG G5 comes with Android 6.0 and is powered by a 2800mAh completely removable battery. The dimensions are as follows 149. 50 x 73. 90 x 7. 80 (height by thickness by thickness) and weighs in at 159. 00 gr.

The LG G5 is a single SIM (GSM) smart phone. It contains  all the ususal connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS UNIT, Wireless bluetooth, NFC, FM, 4G. Sensors included in LG G5 contain Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

All Metal Design

The LG G5 phone’s body includes metallic curves all round, nevertheless it’s not just a metal slab, but an intrinsically designed new age smartphone for the year 2016. It’s quite clean to touch through an understated complete. We’ve observed metallic telephones often prior to, though the G5’s splendor derives from protecting a thing we’re just all acquainted with: the plastic-type antenna bands. A specific process called micro-dizing was used, which conceals the ugly antenna bands without disrupting the overall design of the phone. The end result is an uncluttered and unique design that’s quite striking, to the level where it’s tricky to think this G5’s made from metallic, because we’re accustomed to seeing people antenna breaks or cracks working along the body.

Dual Camera Lenses

The LG G5 has fantastic specifications with regards to it’s, integrating the 16-megapixel sensor having a subsequent 8-megapixel sensor. It keeps the traditional laserlight autofocusing, but also offers an array of brand-new features on this brand-new integrating associated with digital cameras.

To start with, this 16-megapixel camera will function as a regular smartphone camera, taking those high definition photographs just as you would probably be expecting. The second camera, incorporates a 135-degree viewing angle, therefore is going to take wide angle photographs.

It isn’t designed to take on pro-spec extensive angle photographs, it really is basically designed to be practical and also entertaining.

There are also a range of additional functions offered that use both cameras. You can record video and stills at the same time, you can have a number of different framing effects and plenty more.

LG G5 Always-On Display

“To minimise power consumption,” said LG, “we redesigned the display driver IC memory and power management function so that the display’s backlight only illuminates one small part of the overall display. Thanks to this technology, the Always-on Display requires only 0.8 percent of the battery’s full capacity per hour to operate. With consumers turning on their smartphones up to 150 times a day mostly to just check the time, the G5’s Always-on Display will make a notable difference in the life of the battery over the course of the day.”

The LG G5 features a 5.3-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, 554ppi. It’s not the largest display around on a handset this size, but it’s still offering a cracking resolution.

It’s a IPS LCD panel, which LG says is important for the Always-on feature that the G5 offers. This will give you information on the display without you having to wake it up. If this was an AMOLED display, showing that information all the time would lead to burn out.

It’s Modular

This is probably the most novel thing about the LG G5, and it’s something you won’t find on any other flagship smartphone in 2016. The handset’s unique expansion slot allows users to buy specially made module accessories that can completely transform the G5 in the blink of an eye.

Two modules in particular were highlighted by LG. The first is the CAM Plus, a special camera accessory designed to “deliver a comfortable grip and convenient control of a DSLR.” It offers auto focus, exposure lock and physical buttons for the shutter and zoom features. Also of note, it adds 1,200 mAh of power to the phone.

Next up is the Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play, a special module that transforms the G5 into a Hi-Fi audio player that supports 32-bit 384 KHz high-definition audio files.

LG has been an underdog for a very long time. They usually would release their flagships at separate events after the other major brands release theirs. But this time putting up LG G5 right against Samsung’s Galaxy line up states a bold move. Their modular design with their Friends ecosystem might bring other brands a run for their money, though there is no word on it’s pricing but still it’s going to be in the range of around 650 USD.

Let’s wait and watch how things turn out when all the flagships are available to the consumers.
