Motorola is all set to launch it’s line-up of smartphones for 2016. The company has managed to get a grip in the budget smartphone segment with it’s Moto series of phones. Moto G4 or Moto G 2016 will be this year’s budget smartphone offering from Motorola.
Moto G4 Release Date and Price
Motorola has sent invites to a press event for May 17th in New Delhi. Though there were no details about the event but we are pretty sure that the event will have the Moto G4 and Moto X 2016 smartphones. The Moto G3 cost Rs. 12999 right now and with the release of it’s successor this price may drop and we are expecting it to be around the price range of Rs. 15000.
Moto G4 Specifications
Qualcomm had released their new chipset Snapdragon 430 for the year 2016 and it will be inevitable to guess that the Moto G4 will also be rocking the same. The previous year’s Moto G3 had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 which served well for the company. On to the RAM, this year’s budget smartphones are offering a minimum of 2GB RAM and Moto G4 will also not lag behind and sport a 2GB RAM as well.
The Moto G3 had a 5-inch display with 720p resolution and 294 ppi. It is expected to sport the same screen size with if the rumours are correct then we might get a 1080p resolution screen.
Moto G4 Design
The design of the phone may not change significantly but the Moto G4 Plus may sport a fingerprint scanner with a rather unique square button on the front. Other than that all other aspects will remain same. We all loved the quality of material and the look and feel of Moto G phones. On the rear, the camera module has two holes above the lens which might be some additional sensors.
