Not sure about it. Do check if in these Android versions you have YouTube with cardboard view available, then I guess they are compatible for VR.
Do you mean App, Normally there are some youtube videos which meant for card board as like normal videos no need of any hardware just youtube, And googled one app which feasibles playing all youtube videos compatible for cardboard side by side vertically. What I am eager to know is can I watch mobile videos and some card board games, But known that for 180 and 360 degree video mode need gyroscope which is not avail in my mobile, Searching for alternative apps or games which doesn’t require gyroscope.

Compare to the price concern PTron VR headset is the best option for me but, i have a query does it compatible with my moto G3 and xiaomi note 3.
xiomi red mi note 3 is a new launched one and it is having gyroscope sensor which is required while watching these VR videos and some more options also included like access to google card board app and cardboard camera.
